How to connect Expedia

Start in Fewosoft

In Fewosoft, open the “Channels” section and click “Connect” next to Expedia. Then follow the onboarding steps.

Open connectivity settings

In Expedia Partner Central, open the “Connectivity settings” under “Rooms and Rates”.

Select the provider

Select channex.io as the provider for rates and availability and for incoming bookings.

Save and confirm

Click “Save” and then give final confirmation of the connection request. Once it is activated, Expedia sends a confirmation email.

Check your pricing model

For the integration, Expedia uses occupancy-based pricing (OBP) and the lowest available rate (LAR). Check your pricing model in Partner Central before you connect. If you charge extra for additional guests in Fewosoft, this corresponds to the OBP model.

Map room types

After authorization, you match your Expedia room types to the corresponding properties in Fewosoft. This mapping completes the connection. Only then are rates, availability and bookings synced.
