Frequently asked questions about the channel manager
What is a channel manager?
A channel manager is software that keeps your vacation rental available on several booking portals (so-called “channels”) at the same time. It automatically synchronizes availability, rates and booking data between Fewosoft and all connected portals – so you don’t have to enter anything manually.
Which portals are supported?
Fewosoft supports over 100 booking portals, including Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, VRBO, FeWo-direkt, Traum-Ferienwohnungen, Holidu and many regional platforms. Via iCal, Fewosoft can also sync with virtually any other calendar.
How fast are bookings synchronized?
With direct API connections (e.g. Airbnb, Booking.com) synchronization happens within seconds. With iCal-based connections, updates run every 15–30 minutes – reliably and without manual intervention.
Can I connect only some portals?
Yes, you decide which portals you connect through the channel manager. You can add more portals at any time or deactivate existing connections.
Is the channel manager included in every plan?
iCal synchronization is included in the Starter plan. Direct API connections with live synchronization (e.g. for Airbnb and Booking.com) are available from the Pro plan. You can find an overview on the pricing page.
